1. Practise on a demo and keep a diary
Open a demo account before any deposit. Binomo's help centre says the demo holds $10,000 of practice money, none of which can be withdrawn, and allows 30 demo trades before the first deposit, then unlimited. Those practice trades are the cheapest lessons you will get, so record every one of them.
Before each trade you choose when it closes. The help centre gives the range: short trades close in 1 to 5 minutes, long trades in 15 to 60 minutes. It also says that a fixed-time trade cannot be closed before its expiry. That means you cannot cut a loss short, so the size of the trade is the only control you have.
Write down five things for each trade: the asset, the expiry you chose, the amount you traded, the percentage the app showed when you opened, and the result. Copy this table into a notebook or a spreadsheet, one row per trade.
| Asset and expiry | Stake | Percentage shown | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| The asset's name and the closing time you picked | The amount you traded | The figure on screen when you opened | Right, tie or wrong |
When the practice trades are done, count the rows. Leave the ties out, because a tie returns the stake and changes nothing. Of the rest, how many were right? Step 2 gives the share you need just to stand still, so the diary tells you, on practice money, whether your forecasts clear it.
